2nd shift Production Supervisor

East Longmeadow manufacturing company currently seeking Production Supervisors for 2nd shift to oversee day-to-day operations. Full time, temp-hire opportunity! You will coordinate shifts schedules and ensure all employees are performing duties in a timely manner. Duties and responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the shift, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. Ultimately, you will ensure that our operations run smoothly and our customers are satisfied with our service.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Shift Manager or relevant role
• Lead union employees to full productivity in a safe manner
• Oversee accuracy of production/inventory, including daily cycle counts
• Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure the shipping/production schedule is met according to customer demand
• Training employees to encourage professional growth that supports the team’s success
• Ensure conformance to safety standards
• Supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse or manufacturing facility
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• High sense of customer service excellence
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail

Hours: 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm

Pay: $25-30/hr based on experience.
