Logistics Coordinator

East Longmeadow manufacturer currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team. Full time, temp-hire opportunity on 1st shift! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure timely delivery, maintain inventory accuracy, and optimize logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and custom compliance.

Duties

• Coordinate and manage logistics operations within the distribution center, ensuring effective materials handling and transportation planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement demand planning strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Analyze data related to supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth transportation of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory control, and other logistics-related documentation.
• Utilize MRP systems to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the logistics process.
• Support WIP, Final Pack and Raw materials
• Setting up routing requests for all PO’s & quoting freight
• Oversee all import and export through 3rd party
• Handle international documents/custom compliance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of distribution center operations and materials handling practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and systems relevant to logistics management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
• Familiarity with transportation planning processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Pay $31-35/hr depending on experience
