2nd Shift Machine Operators

Local company seeking out a Machine Technicians for 2nd shift Looking for candidates that previously has paper manufacturing experience.

Machine Technician Duties:

• The Machine Technician must be proficient in the basic operation of card conversion cell equipment.
• Operator will load, and operate all equipment in a card cell and make basic machine adjustments as required.
• Will be proficient in changing wrapper film and tear tape and in making minor adjustments to the slitting knives and in making tooling adjustments on the Ruge & Singer which includes changing chisels and anvils when required to maintain cut quality.
• Performs simple repairs and makes changes to set-up parameters in order to compensate for changes in material and sheet registration.
• Assists in set-up activities which includes but is not limited to changing cutter shafts, ME tooling and adjusting conveyors, scales, guides, rails and setting feeder and machine parameters.
• Maintains Production, Quality, Safety and TPM standards.
• Maintains accurate records, generates required production/safety/quality documents and performs good receipt activities in SAP.
• Performs material handling duties required to support the card conversion processes.
• Trains new card conversion operators as required.
• Must communicate effectively with team members and with Supervision/Group Leader. Requires adequate English ability to understand operating manuals, procedures, work instructions and follow operational direction.

Machine Technician Benefits:

• 1st shift: 6:30am-2:30pm & 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm
• $18.50/hr for 1st & $18.90/hr for 2nd shift
