Production Supervisor

Position Summary

The production supervisor will lead the production team to ensure an efficient workflow and on-time customer deliveries in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes daily production schedules
• Assists in the recruiting, hiring, and training of new employees
• Conducts timely quality audits and communicates issues and solutions to management
• Enforces all company policies and guidelines
• Evaluates and helps maintain the condition of production equipment
• Implements cost savings strategies and techniques
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for all employees adhering to all OSHA regulations
• Compiles and analyzes production & quality records

Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Previous supervisory experience
• Understanding of metal stamping, hydraulic presses, and machine controls
• Forklift certification
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS office
